Sensing Sound:
Performance, Technology and Time-Based Practices

This workshop offers an in-depth exploration of performance and technology within the realm of contemporary sound art. Participants gain hands-on experience with field recorders and microphones, learning how to use sound as a medium for artistic expression. They examine how these technologies challenge traditional modes of perception and apply these insights to their own creative practice. During the workshop, participants take part in a soundwalk and create a sound map based on their observations. The workshop concludes with a group exercise, inviting participants to collaboratively perform their own soundscapes.
